David Warren Norlander died peacefully in his sleep at Rennes Nursing Home East, Jan. 26, 2021, due to congestive heart failure at the age of 62. Born June 14, 1958 to Robert E. Norlander and Lorraine (Hurson) Kahle in Chicago Heights, Ill., he grew up in Tomahawk and graduated in 1977. Dave then joined the National Guard.
He was an avid Bears fan and enjoyed cheering for them with his mother. Dave enjoyed the outdoors, working with his hands and watching his favorite TV shows.
He is survived by his brother, Stephen (Laurie) Norlander, and two sisters, Diane (George) Soli, and Nancy (Danny) Smith; along with nieces, nephews, and grand nieces.
Dave will be reunited with his beloved dog, Shiloh. She was his loyal friend for many years.
Private family funeral services were held. Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home of Peshtigo assisted the family with arrangements.
