For the Tomahawk Leader
TOWN OF PINE RIVER – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Wildlife Services this week verified that wolves harassed cattle on a farm located in the Town of Pine River in Lincoln County.
A release from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) said USDA verified the harassment on Thursday, Sept. 26.
Fox lights will be implemented at the site as visual deterrents in an effort to prevent additional conflicts, according to DNR.
DNR partners with USDA Wildlife Services to investigate reported conflicts with wolves.
