TOMAHAWK – Several Tomahawk High School (THS) students are taking part in a new course.
Through Firefighter 1, offered in partnership with Nicolet College in Rhinelander, instructors train students on THS and Nicolet campuses to learn the skills needed to obtain their Firefighter 1 certification.
Students also earn high school and college credit.
“Emergency responders provide vital services in every community,” the School District of Tomahawk said. “Congratulations to these students, who have donned their gear and chosen to pursue the Firefighter 1 certification.”
