Linda K. Vallier, age 79, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, Sept. 9, 2024, at her home, under the care of her family and Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice. Linda was born in Eagle River, Wis., on Oct. 5, 1944. She was raised by her aunt, Ann Kroker.
Linda was the sweetest, kindest, strongest, and most-loving woman to ever walk this planet. She married the love of her life, Jerry Vallier, on Jan. 8, 1966. Linda loved baking, bowling, and playing Canasta with friends. One of her favorite activities was “Family Fun Night” where they played games, baked cookies, and spent precious time together. In her 40s, Linda attended Nicolet College earning her associate degree in Business. She was employed for several years as the director at the Tomahawk Senior Community Center.
Survivors include her husband of over 58 years, Jerry Vallier; her son, Greg (Rhonda Bartelt) Vallier; her grandchildren, Erika (Nick Buitron) Vallier, and Kayli (Tim) Buffington; her great-grandchildren, Kade and Drake; her brothers, Jerry Boucher and Kenny (Helen) Boucher; and her brother-in-law, Ted Binder. She is further survived by her niece, Sue (Kurt) Sabby; and her nephew, Mark (Sabastian) Binder.
Linda was preceded in death by her aunt, Ann Kroker; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Boucher and Geraldine Binder.
