Jeannie M. Zimmer, 67, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, Aug. 23, 2024. She was born on April 23, 1957, in Neenah, the daughter of Gerald and Evelyn (Hansen) Rausch. Jeannie lived in Tomahawk from 1990 to 2011 and moved back to be closer to her family. She enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, four wheeling, traveling, and playing bingo. She will be missed greatly by her friends at Short Branch Saloon, Neenah, who she visited for bingo every Wednesday. Jeannie loved spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s events.
Jeannie is survived by her two children: Michael (Amber Krueger) Rausch and Jessica (Shawn) Street; five grandchildren: Eve and Donovan Rausch, Alexis Krueger, Cadyn and Cecelia Street; three siblings: Patrick (Mary) Rausch, Susie (Roger) Klenke, and Jerry (Karen) Rausch; lifelong friend and father of her children: Daniel Wideman; special friend: David Davis; her fur baby Zeus; many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents; husband: James Zimmer; fiancé: Thomas Ryan; and siblings: Cheryl (Leo) Checkai and Julie Rausch.
Memorial service as held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Laemmrich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha, Wis., 54952. Visitation was Friday at the Laemmrich Chapel from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
