THS students attend FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Seattle

SEATTLE, WASH. – Tomahawk High School (THS) Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students Emma Hoff, Morgan Kretzschmar, Caylie Swan and Riah Petta recently took part in this summer’s FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Seattle, Wash.

More than 8,000 FCCLA students from across the country participated in the conference, which provided attendees with the opportunity to explore career opportunities while instilling real-world skills, advocacy and service.

Roughly 45 groups competed in a variety of categories.

Hoff took 9th place in Chapter in Review, Kretzschmar placed 33rd in Professional Presentation, and Swan and Petta placed 18th in Sports Nutrition.

The School District of Tomahawk said the students’ “remarkable achievements reflect their hard work and determination.”
