Bonnie Jean Marie Timm-Daigle

Bonnie Jean Marie Timm-Daigle, age 92, a lifelong resident of Tomahawk, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, at Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital. Bonnie was born on March 4, 1932, in Merrill, Wis., to the late Fred and Meta (Brumm) Timm. She was a graduate of Tomahawk High School. Bonnie was married to Edwin “Ed” Daigle on May 6, 1950, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tomahawk; Ed passed away on Jan. 7, 2001.

Bonnie had worked as a legal secretary for Charles F. Jensen and the City of Tomahawk until 1952. She and Ed owned and operated Daigle Oil Company in Tomahawk from 1952 until their retirement in 1983. After retiring, they traveled extensively to warmer climates. Bonnie loved and cherished Jesus Christ and was a lifelong active member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. She dearly loved her family and many great friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Bev (Don) Petta; her sons, David (Micki) Daigle, and Fuzzy (Maggie) Daigle; her grandchildren, Heather (Aaron) Plachetka, Pete (Stacie) Petta, Adam (Jess) Daigle, Andy Daigle, Tanya Daigle, and Dustin Daigle; and her two step-granddaughters, Mammie and Savanah. She is further survived by her great-grandchildren, Harleigh and Gunnar Plachetka, Riah and Averi Petta, and Cash, Cooper, and Miley Daigle.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Meta; her husband, Ed Daigle; her brothers, Ray (Irene) Timm, Rod (Francis) Timm, Fred (Doris) Timm, Dale (Virginia) Timm, and Glenn (Marge) Timm; her sisters, Hazel (LeRoy) Currier, Sally (Hienie) Roehrborn, Betty (Gus) Wurl, and Rose (Raleigh) Johnston; her brother-in-law, Al (Annette) Daigle; her sister-in-law, Irene (Pete) Schoone; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Archie and Rose Daigle.

A memorial gathering for Bonnie Daigle will take place at a later date and will be announced at that time. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.

Memorials may be given in Bonnie’s name to the Tomahawk Historical Society.
