Ricky D. Copiskey, age 70, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, at his home. Rick was born in Tomahawk on Jan. 10, 1954, the son of the late Arvin and Dorothy (Kottke) Copiskey.
Rick attended Tomahawk High School. He served in the United States Army where he was stationed in California and Colorado. After his service, he returned to Tomahawk. He was married to Marybeth Andrashie; they later divorced but shared three beautiful daughters. Rick entered the workforce with the Lincoln County Highway Department and retired in 2010. Rick enjoyed laying concrete as a side job. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping on the Willow. Rick adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and held a special place in his heart for his furbabies.
Survivors include his daughters, Andrea (Jim) Petersen, of Tomahawk, Laura (Matt) Kaderavek, of Tomahawk, and Jackie Fuszard, of Rothschild, Wis.; and his sister, Tammy Copiskey, of Tomahawk. Rick is further survived by his grandchildren, Hillary, Elizabeth, Alison, and Hannah, and his great-grandchildren, Holley, Harper, Owen, Willow, Jackson, and Axil.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvin and Dorothy; his brother, Kevin Copiskey; and his son-in-law, James Fuszard.
