Legion, Honor Guard present plaques recognizing support

TOMAHAWK – American Legion Post 93 in Tomahawk and the Tomahawk Area Veterans Honor Guard recently recognized several businesses and organizations for their support.

Post 93 presented a plaque to Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) for its continuing support of Badger Boys State.

The Tomahawk Community Thrift Store, which backs American Legion baseball, also received a plaque.

The Tomahawk Area Veterans Honor Guard presented plaques of appreciation to John Krueger, Castaways Bar and Grill and the Loophole Bar and Grill for contributions towards purchasing new uniforms for the Honor Guard, which consists of members of American Legion Post 93, VFW Post 2687, Forty and Eight 1156, DAV and Am Vets Post 2000.

 “Thank you to anyone who has contributed to our programs,” the organizations said.
