Barbara A. Cepaitis

Barbara A. Cepaitis, 85, of Waukegan, was called home to the Lord on March 18, 2024, while in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born on April 25, 1938, she was a daughter to the late Bruno and Betty Cepaitis and a sister to the late Carol Mivshek.

Barbara dedicated her life to the noble profession of teaching, serving with distinction in the School District of Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Her commitment to her students was unwavering, and she imparted knowledge and wisdom with a grace that will be cherished in memory by all who were touched by her teaching.

Barbara found solace in the serenity of nature, often partaking in fishing trips that reflected her love for the outdoors. She was also fond of traveling to new places and enjoyed the excitement of a well-played game of chance. These pastimes provided her with much-deserved respite and pleasure.

She leaves behind her beloved nephews, Tom and Jim Mivshek, who will continue to honor her legacy by living out the values she taught them.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to those who shared in Barbara’s journey and enriched her life with friendship and care. Her gentle soul and unwavering dedication to education have left an indelible mark on this world.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Barbara’s soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
