Roger W. Goldbeck

Roger W. Goldbeck, age 79, of Wausau, Wis., passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Roger was born in Corning, Wis., on March 3, 1945, to the late Henry and Bernice (Jensen) Goldbeck.

Roger was a 1963 graduate of the Tomahawk High School and later served in the U.S. Air Force. Following his honorable discharge from the military, he worked in Kansas for Cessna Aircraft Company for some time. He then returned to Tomahawk where he was self-employed working as an over-the-road trucker. Roger later worked as a deep-sea fisherman in Alaska on the Bering Sea. He moved back to Tomahawk and began employment at the PCA Mill, retiring in 2016. Roger traveled extensively throughout the United States and truly enjoyed keeping himself busy working his various jobs.

Survivors include his brother, Kenith (Toolie) Goldbeck, and Gary (Darlene) Goldbeck; his sisters, Gloria Beckman, Beverly Berres, Sharon (James) Adamski, and Lois Goldbeck. Roger is the cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bernice; his wife, Angie Goldbeck; and his brother, Glenn Goldbeck.
