LINCOLN COUNTY – Two Corrections Officers with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office recently graduated from the Nicolet College Jail Academy.

Payton Miglieri and Jevin Budzynski completed the Rhinelander college’s 200-hour program, the Sheriff’s Office announced earlier this month.

Budzynski was honored during graduation, receiving the 2024 Partner Award, given to the individual who displays the character and qualities of an ideal partner and is awarded based on the recommendations of fellow classmates; and the Academic Award, given to the student with the highest overall academic scores throughout the academy.

Miglieri and Budzynski have been with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, working in the Jail Division, since February and May of 2023, respectively.

“Congratulations Payton and Jevin, and thank you for your hard work and dedication,” the Sheriff’s Office said.

Budzynski received the 2024 Partner and Academic Awards.
