Hatchet hockey team headed to State

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Hatchet hockey team qualified for the 2024 WIAA Division 2 State Tournament after defeating Mosinee in a Sectional matchup by a score of 8-2 on Thursday, Feb. 29.

This marks Hatchet hockey’s second State tournament appearance and their first trip since the “Dandy Dozen” in 1991.

The Hatchets are slated to play at Bob Suter’s Capitol Ice Arena in Middleton, Wis., on Thursday, Feb. 29.
