THS FBLA team competes in state LifeSmarts competition

MADISON – The Tomahawk High School (THS) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) team competed in the 30th annual state LifeSmarts competition at Edgewood College in Madison on Friday, Feb. 16.

Team Advisor Connor Ahrens explained that LifeSmarts provides real-world education and competition for students who learn about core consumer topics and develop critical thinking skills. Participants focus on five key topic areas: consumer rights and responsibilities, the environment, health and safety, personal finance and technology.

The THS squad ultimately took fifth place in the competition.
