Catherine A. Petrouske, 95, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024 at Riverview Health Services in Tomahawk.
Catherine was born March 31, 1928 in Sheboygan, Wis., to Edward and Cora DeBack. She was united in marriage to Wallace Petrouske on May 17, 1947. He passed away in 1993. Catherine had worked for Sentry Foods in Milwaukee before moving to the Northwoods. She had been employed at Vans Bakery and The Bakers Wife in the Minocqua area. She volunteered at St. Mathias Church and the Woodruff Senior Center for many years. She loved traveling and crafting.
Catherine Petrouske is survived by her loving daughter-in-law, Rosanne Petrouske, Tomahawk; a son, Gary (Stacie) Petrouske, Merrill; five grandsons, Randy II, Russ, Ryan, Jim, and Wally Petrouske; and seven great-grandchildren. Catherine is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace, son, Randall, and siblings Donald Fitch and Vivian Geb.
A Graveside service will be held at Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown, Wis., on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024 at 12 p.m.
