SVDP highlights successful Fund Drive

MERRILL – The St. Vincent de Paul Conference of Merrill (SVDP) last week announced that its Annual Fund Drive brought in a total of $78,315.00.

Sue Norenberg, Director of Operations, said corporate donors contributed $36,000.00 to the Annual Matching Fund Campaign. The corporate donors included Connexus Credit Union, Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, the family of Nick and Kathy Laphen and an anonymous donor.

 “Thanks to the donors’ generosity, 177 donors contributed $42,315.00,” Norenberg stated, noting that SVDP is seeing an increase in individuals looking for help this winter.
