TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently stopped by Road Lake Pub and Grill to welcome its new owners to the community.
The Chamber said Dave and Danyele knew each other growing up, but their lives took different paths until they found each other again and married in 2021.
“Dave has a background in the Army and law enforcement, but his dream was always to own a bar in a friendly town ‘up north,’ the Chamber stated.
Following several trips to the Northwoods to look at various communities and bars, Dave and Danyele happened upon the Tomahawk area and Road Lake Pub and Grill, which had been recently offered up for sale. They fell in love with the place, the community and the current owners, the Chamber said, noting that the “feeling was mutual.”
“They came very highly recommended by Al and Aritha and quickly and easily fell into the future of the historic bar, restaurant and banquet hall – Road Lake Pub and Grill, affectionately also known as ‘The Moose,’ as it boasts the oversize Moose at the entrance,” the Chamber stated. “Everything just clicked, and with the rentals in the lower level of the property, Danyele is able to use her extensive property management skills.”
The Chamber said Dave and Danyele want to be the “first and last place to stop when up north; a place for a quick bite to eat; a drink or two; fun events, like music, bingo, games and karaoke; along with wedding receptions and special events in their lakeside banquet room.” Stop in and visit Dave and Danyele at Road Lake Pub and Grill, located at N8796 County Rd.
