TOMAHAWK – Tomahawk High School (THS)’s Hatchet Innovations recently received a $1,950.00 donation from the Park City Cares Foundation.

THS Principal Ryan Huseby explained that Hatchet Innovations is a student-run business that utilizes high-tech equipment, such as laser engravers, 3D printers, UV printers, graphic printers and cutters, CNC milling machines and more, to design and manufacture various products for school and community customers.

“Hatchet Innovations provides students with the environment to learn about design, manufacturing and business operations through a real-world environment,” Huseby said, adding that the donation will increase production capabilities and meet demands by purchasing an additional heat transfer press used in many manufacturing processes to adhere printed graphics to textiles and other media.

“Thank you Park City Cares Foundation for your support,” Huseby stated.
