National Realtor Ring Day: Local real estate offices match funds raised for Red Kettle Campaign

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Area Real Estate offices, active members in the Northwoods Association of Realtors (NWAR), recently took part in the annual National Realtor Ring Day to help support the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign.

The local realtors matched the funds they raised on Friday, Dec. 1. Their matching funds were donated at the Trig’s kettle location on Friday, Dec. 8.

The Salvation Army of Tomahawk set a fundraising goal of $55,000.00 this year, which will fund emergency assistance for those in need and supplement the budget of the Happy Kids Backpack Program.

The Tomahawk realtors are encouraging the public to donate at a local kettle or volunteer to ring through Saturday, Dec. 23. The schedule a time to ring, contact Win Semmler at 630-667-3250 or visit www.RegistertoRing.com.
