Tomahawk Community Thrift Shop seeking bubble wrap, packing paper

For the Tomahawk Leader

TOMAHAWK – Those doing their holiday shopping online have the opportunity to lend a hand to a local nonprofit store.

The Tomahawk Community Thrift Shop (TCTS), 328 N. 4th St., aims to provide “good-quality used merchandise at affordable prices,” with proceeds going local nonprofit and community organizations and groups in need of financial help.

“Our mission is to provide financial assistance to the various federally-recognized charities in the Tomahawk area by offering grants,” TCTS’s website says.

TCTS is currently seeking bubble wrap and packing paper that is shipped with packages purchased online.

TCTS noted that it is not accepting packing peanuts or boxes – only flattened wrap and paper.

“Drop it off anytime the store is open at the back door or at the checkout counter,” TCTS stated.

For more information, contact TCTS at 715-224-3586.
