LINCOLN COUNTY – The new Supervisor for District 13 in Lincoln County has been appointed.
George Brixius will replace former District 13 Supervisor Calvin Callahan, who stepped down from the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors in September due to his relocation out of the district.
District 13 covers Ward 4 in the Town of Bradley, Ward 1 in the Town of Somo and Ward 1 in the Town Wilson.
Brixius was appointed to the position during the board’s meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
Brixius was previously elected to serve as District 17 Supervisor in April 2022, but stepped down later that year due to a move out of the district.
Brixius will serve the remainder of Callahan’s term, which ends on April 15, 2024.
