Tomahawk community celebrates Homecoming

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk community celebrated Tomahawk High School’s Homecoming last week.

Mayor Steve Taskay and his wife, Dawn, were guests at the Hatchets’ Homecoming football game on Friday, Sept 29.  At halftime, they crowned 2023 Homecoming King Carson Childers and Queen Caylie Swan.

In celebration of Homecoming last week, Milestone Senior Living in Tomahawk gathered their Hatchet alumni – total of 11 that graduated between 1943 and 1953. Among them are Fran, who was Valedictorian, and Pat, who was Salutatorian. A pair of former cheerleaders each held a pom pom.
