Football: Tomahawk falls to Coleman in Homecoming matchup

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Hatchet football team hosted Coleman for Homecoming on Friday, Sept. 29 and fell by a score of 42-14.

The first half was all Coleman, with the Cougars taking a 35-7 lead into the locker room. Tomahawk’s lone score of the half was a six-yard touchdown run by Ryan Larson, followed by a successful extra point.

Coleman scored one more touchdown in the third quarter, and Caleb Dickens’ three-yard touchdown run and subsequent extra point in the fourth quarter was the Hatchets’ final score of the game.

Through the air, Brayden Larson completed four of ten passes for 12 yards. Caleb Dickens led the Hatchets’ ground attack with 104 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.

This week’s action

On Friday, Oct. 6, the Hatchets will travel to Westfield for a game that gets underway at 7 p.m.
