Lady Hatchet swimmers take on Medford

MEDFORD – The Tomahawk Hatchet girls’ swim team took on Medford in a road matchup on Thursday, Sept. 14.

Among the highlights of the night was Paige Dekeip’s pair of first place finishes in the 200-yard IM (2:20.74) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:05.60).

Dorian Stefan dropped seven seconds in the 200-yard freestyle (36.39) and 20 seconds in the 500-yard freestyle (7:18.01), while Maggie Lashua cut two seconds in the 100-yard backstroke (1:36.22) and four seconds in the 500-yard freestyle (8:51.85).

This week’s action

On Thursday, Sept. 21, Tomahawk will travel to Rhinelander for a meet that gets underway at 5:30 p.m.
