For the Tomahawk Leader
TOMAHAWK – The City of Tomahawk’s water tower recently received a facelift as part of routine maintenance.
The water tower, located off E. Birchwood Ave., just north of Kwik Trip, was repainted with a navy blue and yellow color scheme, matching that of the School District of Tomahawk.
Earlier this year, while discussing color options with the City of Tomahawk Board of Public Works, Water Department Leadperson Glen Hanna explained that the darker color will hide debris buildup better than the previous shade of light blue, meaning the tower will not have to be cleaned as often.
