TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Lions Club hosted the 13th annual Thrilla on the Grilla rib and side dish cook-off in downtown Tomahawk on Saturday, Aug. 5.
Gordo’s Garage took first place in the Judges’ Choice Ribs category, followed by Winding Trail Grill and Bar in second and Hilltop Resort in third.
In the Judges’ Choice Sides category, Hilltop Resort emerged victorious, with Tomahawk Main Street taking second place and Winding Trail Grill and Bar rounding out the top three.
Geiss Meats finished in first place in the People’s Choice category, followed by Hilltop Resort and Winding Trail Grill and Bar.
In a Facebook post, the Lions club thanked all the contestants, visitors, volunteers and supporters who participated in this year’s Thrilla on the Grilla.
“We had a blast hosting everyone, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s fun,” the Lions Club said. “Congrats to all the winners, and thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy a day of delicious festivities. The Tomahawk Lions Club is humbled and honored to be part of this wonderful community.”
