Joan Kay Randall
3/2/1939 – 3/11/2023
Joan was born on March 2, 1939 in Marshfield, Wis., Lloyd (Buck) Randall and Grayce Daley Randall. She passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023 in Boise, Idaho.
Joan grew up in Sturgeon Bay, Wis., and graduated from high school there in 1956. After high school she attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a degree in Home Economics and Early Childhood Education.
Her career was as a kindergarten teacher in Fox Point, Wis., from 1962 to 1996 when she retired early to care for her parents. Over the years, she educated and influenced countless children.
She spent many winters at the family condo in Cape Coral, Fla., and all summers at Crystal Lake near Tomahawk. Joan enjoyed arts and crafts, golf and all Wisconsin sports teams. She moved permanently to Boise, Idaho in 2018 to be near family. Joan will be missed by her sister, Paula (Dick) Rant, niece, Margaret (Charlie) Hepworth, and nephew, Richard (Carolyn) Rant and their families.
