Cathleen ‘Casey’ L. Leintz

Cathleen “Casey” L. Leintz, age 85, of Brantwood, Wis., passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at her home under the care of her family and Compassus Hospice. Casey was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on Aug. 27, 1937, to the late James and Mary (Weigand) Graves. She was married to Raphael Leintz on Jan. 28, 1956; he passed away on Nov. 20, 2010.

Casey grew up in Milwaukee where she graduated from the North Division High School. She was a talented cook who cooked for the Prentice Travel Center for many years. Casey enjoyed canning and various crafts including embroidery and cross-stitch. She was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Casey was very proud of her Irish heritage; her favorite song being Danny Boy. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Deborah (Joe) Villalobos, of Zion, Ill., Michael Leintz, of Indiana, Daniel (Sally) Leintz, of Milwaukee, Ellen Jennings, of North Carolina, Kevin Leintz, of Brantwood, Michelle (Bill) Klotz, of Tomahawk, Patrick (Lynette) Leintz, of Star Prairie, Wis., Stephanie (Dennis) Pagel, of Merrill, Wis., Ann (Brad) Weinzatl, of Brantwood, and Christopher (Dessy) Leintz, of Connecticut. She is further survived by 28 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Casey was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary; her husband, Ralph; her daughter, Kelly Dupont; her son-in-law, Robert Jennings; and her daughter-in-law, Becky Leintz.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 12 p.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. Louis Maram Reddy officiated. The family received friends for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.
