Bruce A. Clifford, age 69, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital. Bruce was born in Wausau, Wis., on Dec. 15, 1953, to the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Snyder) Clifford.
Bruce spent countless hours on the road as an over-the-road truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, cooking out, and spending time with family and friends on the lake. He was an amazing dad and grandpa who was generous, loving, compassionate, and hardworking and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his significant other, Sue Butkiewicz; his son, Travis Clifford (Kerry Newberry); his daughter, Amanda Clifford; his stepson, Guy (Kari) Kiser; and his sister, Marty (Steve) Keintz. Bruce is further survived by his grandchildren, Ciarra Clifford, Gunnar Zubke, Alexander Clifford, Miya Clifford, and Kelly Clifford, in addition to many “adopted” children and grandchildren including Robbie and Kari Smith and clan, and many friends within the community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth “Betts” and Arthur; his brother, Robert Clifford; and special family friends, Dorothy “Petey” and Bob Liberty.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023, beginning at 1 p.m. at Travis’ house located at 1203 Trimberger Ave. in Tomahawk.
