Evers continuing to seek applicants for Price County District Attorney

PRICE COUNTY – After announcing on March 15 that he was seeking applicants for Price County District Attorney, Governor Tony Evers has extended the application deadline.

On Thursday, July 27, Evers said he would accept applications for the position “on a rolling basis until the vacancy is filled.”

The appointment will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of District Attorney Karl J. Kelz.

The new district attorney will serve the remainder of the Kelz’s term, which ends in Jan. 2025.
