Construction on WIS 107 in Lincoln County set to begin next week

LINCOLN COUNTY – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), on Friday, July 21, announced that construction on WIS 107 in Lincoln County will begin next week.

Work is slated to start on Monday, July 31.

WisDOT said crews will replace the culvert pipes 0.6 miles north of Eggert Dr. and 0.2 miles north of Rock Falls Dr.

Structure repairs and pavement improvements to the bridge over Joe Snow Creek and a bridge structure replacement and pavement replacement at Skanawan Creek will also take place.

During construction, WIS 107 will be closed and detoured via WIS 64, County Rd. J, U.S. 51 and County Rd. S.

Construction is scheduled for completion by October.

“The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress,” WisDOT stated.
