TOWN OF KING – A Lac du Flambeau man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the Town of King on Saturday, July 15.
According to a release from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 6:48 p.m., deputies responded to the area of County Rd. A and Villa Rd. for a report of a single-vehicle rollover.
Upon arrival on the scene, it was discovered that the operator and lone occupant of the vehicle had sustained fatal injuries in the crash.
The family of the victim requested that the victim’s identity be withheld.
Speed is believed to be a factor, the Sheriff’s Office said. The crash remains under investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Tomahawk EMS, the Tomahawk Fire Department and the Lincoln County Coroner.
