LP Tomahawk to host 30th anniversary open house

TOMAHAWK – Tomahawk’s Louisiana Pacific (LP) facility will host an open house to celebrate its recent 30th anniversary.
The public is invited to the event, which will be held at LP Tomahawk, 927 Southgate Dr., on Friday, June 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Complimentary tours, refreshments, raffles and giveaways will be featured.
LP said closed-toe shoes and long pants will be required for tours, noting that children are welcome to attend the open house but may not be able to participate in tours due to safety reasons.
LP Tomahawk hit the three-decade milestone on March 15. Thirty years earlier, on March 15, 1993, the first board was pressed at the facility.
