For the Tomahawk Leader

TOMAHAWK – For the 29th year, the Main Street Memories Car Show brought auto enthusiasts from far and wide to downtown Tomahawk.

This year’s event, held on Sunday, May 29, featured 300 registered vehicles, along with three cars for display only and “a few fun ones who just wanted to enjoy the day and share their vehicles without being classified,” a post on the Tomahawk Main Street Memories Car Show’s Facebook page said.

Specialty winners are as follows:

Furthest Traveled – Jim McKeunn, from Elmhurst, Ill.;

Club Participation – Summer Knights;

Oldest Participant – Ron Knoll;

Youngest Participant – Awarded to Kyle Ullenbrauck at the show, but due to entry error, this should have been awarded to Noah Jenson;

Mayor’s Choice – Bill Melchi, 1937 Ford Sedan;

People’s Choice – Mike Paulson, 1971 Chevelle;

Best in Show – Loren Barshe, 1929 Dodge Senor Coupe.
