WISCONSIN – U.S. Representative Tom Tiffany (R-Wis.) is considering a run for the United States Senate in 2024.

According to a statement from his media team, Tiffany will “make a decision this summer” on whether or not he will launch a campaign, which would likely be against current Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin.

Tiffany was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in May 2020 after defeating Democrat Tricia Zunker in a special election that was called following the resignation of former Republican Rep. Sean Duffy.

Tiffany defeated Zunker again in Nov. 2020 and emerged victorious over Democrat Richard “Dick” Ausman on his way to reelection in Nov. 2022.

Prior to his election to Congress, Tiffany represented Wisconsin’s 35th Assembly District from Jan. 2011 to Jan. 2013 and represented the state’s 12th Senate District from Jan. 2013 until his May 2020 election to the U.S. House of Representatives.
