Milo’s Country Store welcomed to Tomahawk community by Chamber Ambassadors

For the Tomahawk Leader

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Regional Chamber of Commerce welcomed Milo’s Country Store to the community during a recent ribbon cutting ceremony.

Milo’s Country Store is located at W6855 State Hwy. 86, two miles west of Tomahawk.

In a release, the Chamber said Milo’s “has a little bit of everything to get you through.”

“From fishing gear and bait, to milk and moonshine, as well as all those bits and pieces in between, Milo’s abundant selection and friendly staff are a great addition to our community,” the Chamber stated.

The Augustine family said they named the store in honor of a beloved pet lost less than a year before opening, noting that they wanted to choose a unique name that rolls off the tongue.

The Chamber added that the Augustine family also wanted to help their neighbors “with those simple items that everyone needs, but may have missed on the ol’ shopping list.”

“Milo’s is the perfect blend – a family-owned and operated store with the comforts of a country store, yet a convenience packed with the essentials,” the Chamber stated. “You will be pleasantly surprised at not only the selection, but the great prices at Milo’s.”

Tomahawk Regional Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Sherry Hulett, along with Ambassadors Kristi Davis, Deb Tomaszewski, Bunny Kluka, Jennifer Turkiewicz, Becky Jaecks, Karrie Hess, Heather Smith, Diane Timm and Kathy Rankin, enjoyed a visit and ribbon cutting at Milo’s Country Store.
