Free Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and acellular pertussis), HPV (human papillomavirus) and meningococcal vaccines will be available for eligible children. Vaccine supply is limited.

In order to participate in the clinic, a child must be between the ages of 11 and 18 and meet one of the following qualifications:

  • Has Medicaid/Badger Care coverage
  • Does not have health insurance
  • Has insurance, but no vaccine coverage
  • Is Alaskan Native or American Indian

“It’s easy for parents to forget that pre-teen and teenage children also need vaccinations,” said Kristi Krombholz, LCHD Public Health Nurse. “It’s a very busy time in childhood, and often, it can be overlooked in the hustle and bustle of life. Through this adolescent vaccine clinic, our nursing staff would love to make getting your child up-to-date with vaccines as easy as possible for busy families.”

Pre-registration is required by Monday, April 10. Register online at www.bit.ly/3lTyCYn. For assistance with registration, call LCHD 715-536-0307.

“LCHD’s Public Health Nurses are friendly, knowledgeable and available to answer questions that you have about childhood vaccines,” LCHD stated.
