Two facing drug-related charges following execution of search warrant at Tomahawk residence

TOMAHAWK – Two people are facing drug-related charges following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the City of Tomahawk.

In a Thursday, March 23 post on the Tomahawk Police Department’s Facebook page, Chief Al Elvins said a search warrant was executed at a residence on the 200 block of Hillcrest Dr. in Tomahawk as part of an investigation into the sale, distribution and possession of controlled substances.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant, David W. Fish, 41, and Crystal L. Dean, 34, were taken into custody and transported to the Lincoln County Jail. Each is charged with felony counts of maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of methamphetamine and manufacturing and/or delivery of tetrahydrocannabinols, according to the post.

Fish and Dean were also each charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia, and Fish was also wanted on a probation warrant, the post said.

“In addition to the marijuana and methamphetamine, officers located items used to inject, smoke and consume the illegal drugs,” the post stated. “Multiple other items of evidentiary value were removed from the home.”

More charges may be filed in the future, according to the post.
