Jerry Teal, age 88, of Tomahawk, passed away on March 17, 2023 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Jerry was born on Feb. 10, 1935 in Tomahawk to Eldron and Esther (Boeris) Teal. Jerry served our country as a member of the U.S. Army. He was married to Marjorie Binder on Aug. 26, 1957 in Pine Tree, Minn. Jerry worked at the Tomahawk Paper Mill for over 30 years. He loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed horses.

Jerry is survived by his wife – Marge Teal of Tomahawk; children – Deborah (Michael) Gajewski of Manassas, Va., Karla (Renard) Edwards of New Orleans and Brian (Deborah Cline) Teal of Tomahawk; five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings – Chuck (Mary Beth) Teal, Jack Teal, Kathy Huston, Lavonne Penkalski and Mary Jane Watten. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers – Mike, Francis and Richard, and sister – Jean Streicher.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later time.
