TOMAHAWK – A Tomahawk man is facing four felony charges related to child sexual assault.

Glenn C. Wagner, 93, was arrested on Tuesday, March 7 as part of a Tomahawk Police Department investigation into incidents of sexual assault that reportedly occurred at a private property near Birchwood Ave. in the City of Tomahawk.

Wagner is charged with felony counts of first degree child sexual assault, repeated sexual assault of the same child, child enticement and exposing genitals to a child.

According to court records, the offenses occurred on June 1, 2018.

Wagner appeared in Lincoln County court on Wednesday, March 15, where Judge Robert R. Russell determined that there is enough evidence for the case to proceed to trial.

In a post on the Tomahawk Police Department’s Facebook page, Chief Al Elvins said several other victims have been identified, and the department is “seeking additional information regarding those incidents and victims.”

Individuals with information regarding these incidents or similar activity that has occurred within the City of Tomahawk are asked to contact Detective Matt Gorell at the Tomahawk Police Department.

Elvins said his “primary goal” is to “always protect Tomahawk residents and provide a safe community.”

“The Tomahawk Police Department would like to thank everyone for their continued support and cooperation,” the post stated.

Wagner is scheduled to be back in court on Wednesday, March 22 for an arraignment.
