Lincoln County Sheriff’s Report: March 14, 2023
As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, March 14:
A Merrill man, 20, escaped injury following a one-vehicle crash on Friday morning, March 10. Deputies responded to the crash shortly before 6 a.m. near the intersection of Brandenburg Ave. and County Rd. Q in the Town of Scott. A preliminary investigation indicated the vehicle the man was driving was eastbound on County Rd. Q when it slide sideways while attempting to turn on to Brandenburg Ave., struck the ditch and rolled onto its side.
An Appleton man, 35, escaped injury following a one-vehicle crash during the early morning hours of Monday, March 6. A preliminary investigation indicated the vehicle the man was driving was eastbound on U.S. Hwy. 8 in the Town of Wilson when it lost control, entered the ditch and rolled over.
Four motorists reported striking deer in Lincoln County this past week.
