Grace “Jackie” Zoellner, age 89, of Tomahawk, passed away at her home on Feb. 20, 2023.
Grace was born on June 10, 1933 in Tomahawk to John and Marion (Clleland) Fryar. She was married to Ronald Zoellner on May 28, 1971 in Tripoli. Grace worked at Tomahawk Boat Factory for 17 years before it changed to Harley-Davidson. She loved watching the hummingbirds at her home and feeding the wildlife. She enjoyed flowers, especially lilacs. Grace enjoyed card playing and puzzles. She loved spending time with her family, her grandchildren, who lovingly called her Grandma Button and her beloved four-legged family – Muffin and Buttons.
Grace is survived by her husband – Ron Zoellner; her children – Tom (Michele) Welke, Tim (Margie) Welke, Terry (Jean) Zoellner and Tad Zoellner, all of Tomahawk. She is further survived by her grandchildren – TJ (Nichole) Welke, Kristin Welke, Nicole (Nicolle) Behnke-Welke, Stephanie (Connor) Ahrens, Zach Zoellner and Dylan Schiltz; and one great-grandson – Thomas.
Grace is preceded in death by her parents, daughter – Debbie Welke and two siblings.
The Memorial Service for Grace Zoellner took place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 at Krueger Family Funeral Home, Tomahawk. Pastor Julie Sinkula officiated. The visitation took place at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Krueger Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services assisted the family with arrangements.
