LINCOLN COUNTY – After serving in an interim role for several months, Renee Krueger has been named Lincoln County’s Administrative Coordinator.
The Lincoln County Board of Supervisors unanimously voted to appoint Krueger to the role on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
Krueger had been serving as the county’s Interim Administrative Coordinator since Nov. 2022, while simultaneously heading up the county’s Social Services Department.
With her appointment, Krueger will be solely in the Administrative Coordinator position.
In briefly addressing the board, Krueger said she’s been humbled by the outpouring of support over the last few months.
“I will miss working with the Social Services team day-to-day, but they are incredibly talented and passionate about what they do, and they will continue to do great things,” she stated.
Krueger said she recognizes “the challenges that we’re going to have in the upcoming months.”
“We’re going to have some difficult conversations as we move through the budget process, but I’m also very excited about the opportunities that are presented to us moving forward this year,” she stated. “I’m just really excited about the collaboration and seeing where we can go.”
