Lennie Calhoun, 78, of Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023 at Milestone Living Center in Rhinelander.

Lennie was born April 18, 1944 to Victor and Laura (Neuman) Anderson in Marshfield, Wis. She was married to Gene Calhoun on April 22, 1967 in Unity, Wis. Lennie worked as a beautician in Tomahawk for many years. She owned and operated Lennie’s Beauty Boutique and later Image Connection. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, antiques, and painting. She had been a member of Grace Lutheran Church for many years.

Surviving Lennie is her husband, Gene Calhoun and three children, Bob (Carrie) Calhoun of Tomahawk, Gina Calhoun of Rhinelander, and Don (Dawn) Calhoun of Wausau. She is further survived by a brother, Robert (Ann) Anderson of Vermont, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Service for Lennie Calhoun will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 11 a.m. from Grace Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in the spring. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home Monday, Jan. 30, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Krueger Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Tomahawk, is assisting the family with arrangements.
