Carl W. Kleinfeldt, age 54, of Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Jan. 16, 2023.

Carl was born on Oct. 24, 1968 in Tomahawk to Phillip Kleinfeldt and Janet (Jaecks) Rysdon. He was the youngest of three children. Carl loved deer hunting. He enjoyed trout fishing in his secret spot – a secret he only shared with people close to him. Carl was able to see the country when he worked for an over the road moving company, before his career with the Tomahawk Paper Mill, where he was currently employed. Carl was a wonderful brother, uncle, great-uncle and friend.

Carl is survived by his sister – Terry Scholz, brother-in-law – Jerry Kottke, and his nieces and nephew – Christina (Todd) Copiskey, Jennifer (Matt) Derleth and Eric Scholz. Carl is further survived by his great-nieces and nephews – Caden, Alison, Avery and Emmett and many good friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, step-mother – Jane Kleinfeldt, sister – Lisa Kottke, and brother-in-law – Art Scholz.

The Funeral Service for Carl Kleinfeldt took place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023 at the Northwoods Vineyard Church in Tomahawk. Pastor Ross Nelson officiated. Visitation took place on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11a.m. Carl will be buried at Spirit Falls Cemetery in the springtime.  Krueger Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Tomahawk, assisted the family with arrangements.
