Tomahawk skaters take down Pacelli, Antigo

For the Tomahawk Leader

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Hatchet hockey team earned wins at home and on the road last week.

Pacelli

The Hatchets hosted Pacelli at SARA Park on Tuesday, Jan. 10 and emerged with a 5-3 victory.

Coach Chris Bembinster noted that although Tomahawk ultimately came away with the win, the team “(needs) a little reminder, soon, about attitude and effort.”

“Those two alone will make or break our season,” Bembinster said after the game. “We are definitely proud of the group for digging deep to finish this game in the win column.”

Antigo

Tomahawk hit the road on Thursday, Jan. 12, traveling to Antigo to face the Red Robins. The Hatchets dominated the game, taking down their conference opponents 7-1.

“We did exactly what we set out to do tonight,” Bembinster stated. “The whole team was involved in this win. We had great attitudes and effort from everyone. We are real happy with every single player tonight.”
