LeRoy J. Wolf, age 87, of Tomahawk, passed away peacefully on Nov. 3, 2022 with his family by his side.
LeRoy was born in Marathon City, Wis., to George and Marie (Wagner) Wolf. He was married to Mary Schoen on Jan. 25, 1955 in Marathon City. LeRoy was a jack-of-all-trades. He could fix or build just about anything. LeRoy worked as a baker for awhile before becoming a wholesale florist. He also worked for many years at Inshalla golf course as a greenskeeper.
LeRoy is survived by his wife – Mary Wolf of Tomahawk; and children – Pat (Ginger) Wolf of Mosinee, Steve (Mary) Wolf of Phoenix, Ariz., Sandra Sprague of Ft. Myers, Fla. and Terri (Tod) Cantrall of Tomahawk. LeRoy is further survived by eight grandchildren – Kayla, Jason, Chelsea, Sam, Justin, Mandy, Samantha and Molly; and nine great-grandchildren with another on the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter and son-in-law – Jeanne and Jay Swiger.
The Memorial Mass for LeRoy Wolf will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov.10, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Fr. Louis Maram Reddy will officiate. Visitation will take place at the church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
