JoAnne M. Wenke, age 91, of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022 in Milwaukee at Autumn Lake Health Care.
JoAnne was born in Milwaukee to Herchel and Gladys (Jacobson) Zophy on Dec. 21, 1930. She worked as a supervisor at the JC Penny distribution center in Milwaukee for over 30 years.
JoAnne is survived by his son – Michael (Joyce) Wenke of Harshaw; grandchildren – Lucas (Jenny) Wenke of West Allis and Allison Wenke of West Allis. She is further survived by her brother – Ron Zophy of Louisville and niece and nephew – Alan and Ann-Marie Zophy. JoAnne is preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law – Barbara and grandson – Matthew Wenke.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the future.
