Judith A. Hubatch

Judith A. Hubatch, age 76, of Tomahawk, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, at her home under the care of Compassus Hospice. Judy was born Aug. 15, 1946, in Antigo, Wis., to the late Louis and Virginia (Cline) Dorn. She was married to David Hubatch on Aug. 8, 1964; he survives.

Judy had worked at Sheldons Inc. – Mepps, American Plastics, and was a familiar face at Shopko and Trig’s. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a participant with the VFW.

Judy loved spending time with family and friends. She had a jubilant personality who enjoyed interacting with customers at work, often commenting how happy it made her when they stood in line a little longer to go through her checkout line so they could talk to her. Judy enjoyed going to Music on the River, was an amazing cook who loved cooking for others and for various functions, and enjoyed knitting and playing pool.

Survivors include her husband, David E. Hubatch; her daughter, Pamela (Ryan) Osness; her son, Perry (Lisa) Hubatch; and her granddaughters, Ashley (Michael) Manzeck, Amber (Steven) Trojan, Mikayla Hubatch, and Annika Hubatch. Judy is further survived by four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy D. Hubatch; her parents, Louis Dorn and Virginia (Cline) Dorn; and her brother, Jerry Dorn.

Private family services for Judy will take place at Generations Funeral Home, Tomahawk. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Judy’s name to Compassus Hospice or the American Legion Post #93 of Tomahawk. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
