Dale Fish

Dale Fish, age 82, of Tomahawk, passed away on Sept. 18, 2022 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk.

Dale was born on Oct. 23, 1939 in Tomahawk to Richard and Ruth (Lutes) Fish. He was a graduate of Tripoli High School. He proudly served our country with the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. After his honorable discharge from the Marines, he enlisted with the Air Force for an additional four years. Dale was a police officer with the Tomahawk Police Department and later a Sheriff’s Deputy with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office until his retirement. He loved outdoor activities. Dale enjoyed his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and his ’57 Ford. He was an active member of the VFW and American Legion.

Dale is survived by his two children – Brian (Nancy) Fish of Waterford, Mich., and Sonja Fish of Appleton; his fiancée – Linda Andersen; and three granddaughters – BryAnne, daughter of Sonja; Savannah and Cheyenne Fish, daughters of Brian and Nancy. Dale is further survived by his sister – Leah (John) Sorenson, Linda’s sons – Scott and Troy Andersen and family, other relatives and many dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers – Larry and Richard Fish, sister – Gloria FauFau, son – Jeffrey D. Fish, twin of Sonja and daughter – Kim Fish.

The Funeral Service for Dale Fish took place at 12 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022 at Krueger Family Funeral Home, Tomahawk. Pastor Larry Mathein officiated. Visitation took place on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. Burial with Military Honors took place immediately following the service in Oak Hill Cemetery.
